We illustrate a series of key issues in the construction of theoretical-lattices through the case of relativistic physical cosmology in the first half of the twentieth century. Following the framework of metatheoretical structuralism, we classify various cosmological models that share multivalued attributes, and apply the methodologies of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) to represent their semantic relations. Our aim is to expand the conceptual map published on the website Exploratorium of space-time theories, generating representations that support both the study of physical cosmology and epistemological research on scientific theories. We discuss the definition of a specialization relation and a theorization relation from the perspective of FCA, scaling decisions, historical versus crystallized approaches to context construction, and the use of artificial intelligence tools for attribute exploration.
